Excellent and Memorable Stay
We visited this 3 star budget hotel again after 3 years, again for 10 nights and we felt it like a home away from home. The hotel has improved a lot in many aspects since our last visit. You will find here comfort and Jodhpur style hospitality, not offered by many high star hotels. We were greeted in a traditional Indian way by offering us a garland and drink. This may be a pleasant surprise for many, as most costly hotels in India do not value their customers like this.
The location of the hotel is just outside the crowded city; the autos, Uber and Ola taxis are easily available in a few minutes and not costly for going to the tourist attractions or airport.
The hotel is a historic heritage building which is decorated with several art and antique pieces. The garden was quite good and large and all the plants were healthy.
Our room no. 7 was quite spacious and artistically furnished with table, chairs, fridge, TV with cable channels, AC, wardrobe, tea/coffee making facility, and a very big bathroom with 24 hour hot water. We were given 1 liter water bottle and 3 snacks/biscuits and News paper every day in the room. They always helped us if we needed any thing at any time. The staff were many and all very helping and ready to help us.
Breakfast
The breakfast was laid down in the Garden area in a most hygienic way, and served by uniformed waiters. The breakfast was very good, Indian vegetarian food including Jodhpur famous items as well as Western items, with daily variation. Here you will find Mr Raghnath Singh, the manager, who will offer and serve you hot food at the table, a great example of famous Jodhpuri hospitality, not found in any other hotel. The hotel owner, Mr Trideep Singhvi used to take a round during breakfast time, almost daily and greet every person. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant for dinner.
The WiFi was free in room and all the areas of the hotel and was fast. This is a value for money hotel without sacrificing any comfort. I will definitely recommend this hotel for all those visiting Jodhpur.
